Terms and Conditions of Participation

In the following, personal designations apply equally to persons of male and female gender.

By participating in the survey and the associated raffle, you accept the following terms and conditions:

  1. Organizer of the raffle is Sterntaler GmbH, Werkstrasse 6-8, 65599 Dornburg-Dorndorf, Phone: +49 (0) 6436-509-0, service@sterntaler.com.
  2. The survey and the associated raffle start on 06/08/2026 and end on 06/22/2026.
  3. The following prize will be raffled: a voucher worth 500 EUR for the next family vacation in South Tyrol, provided by Südtirol Hosts (@suedtirolhosts). The voucher is valid at all establishments of www.suedtirolhosts.com redeemable. The voucher is valid for 1 year. Winners can freely choose the type of accommodation according to their needs. The prize processing is carried out by Sterntaler GmbH.
  4. Eligible to participate are natural persons who are of legal age at the time of participation, i.e., at least 18 years old, fully legally competent, and whose place of residence is in Germany, Austria, or Switzerland. Employees of Sterntaler GmbH and other persons involved in the implementation of the raffle, as well as their relatives, are excluded from participation.
  5. Participation takes place by fully completing the survey on the Sterntaler website and providing the contact details required for participation. Additionally, the raffle may be promoted through posts and stories on Sterntaler's social media channels, especially Instagram and Facebook. However, participation in the raffle is only possible via the survey on the website. Participation is only possible within the participation period. Entries received after the deadline will not be considered in the draw.
  6. Only one fully submitted entry per participant will be entered into the raffle. Multiple entries, especially through the use of multiple email addresses, are not permitted and may result in exclusion from the raffle.
  7. Participation in the raffle is free of charge and independent of the purchase of goods or services.
  8. The winner will be determined by random draw among all eligible participants who have fully completed the survey and complied with the terms of participation.
  9. The winner will be contacted promptly by email and asked to confirm their contact details for verification. The voucher will then be sent to the winner by Sterntaler GmbH.
  10. A cash payment of the voucher value or an exchange of the prize is not possible. The prize is non-transferable.
  11. Sterntaler GmbH reserves the right to suspend or terminate the raffle entirely or temporarily if required for technical or legal reasons.
  12. The raffle is not connected to Instagram, Facebook, or Meta and is in no way sponsored, supported, or organized by Instagram, Facebook, or Meta. The contact person and responsible party is exclusively Sterntaler GmbH.
  13. The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies. Legal recourse regarding the drawing of the winner is excluded.

Privacy notice:

The processing of data when participating in the survey and raffle is carried out by Sterntaler GmbH. You can reach the data protection officer of Sterntaler GmbH at datenschutz@sterntaler.com.

The personal data you provide as part of the survey and raffle will be used exclusively for conducting the raffle, notifying the winner, and anonymized evaluation of the survey results for internal analysis purposes and the creation of target group or user profiles (personas). The data will not be used for advertising purposes or passed on to third parties.

The processing is based on your consent according to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR as well as for conducting the raffle according to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR. The personal data will be deleted as soon as they are no longer necessary for conducting the raffle and evaluating the survey and no legal retention obligations exist.

You have the right at any time to access your stored data and, if the legal requirements are met, the right to correction, deletion, restriction of processing, and data portability. You can revoke your consent at any time with effect for the future by contacting info@sterntaler.com. Please contact our data protection officer directly regarding the assertion of your rights. You can also file a complaint with a supervisory authority at any time.
