In the following, personal designations apply equally to persons of both male and female genders.

By participating in the competition you accept the following conditions of participation:

  1. The organizer of the competition is Sterntaler GmbH, Werkstrasse 6-8, 65599 Dornburg-Dorndorf, Tel: +49 (0) 6436-509-0, service@sterntaler.com.
  2. The competition begins on November 28, 2024 and ends on November 29, 2024.
  3. The following prize will be raffled off: 5 pieces of the toy Christmas collection
  4. Natural persons who are of legal age (i.e. at least 18 years old) and have full legal capacity (“participants”) and who live in Germany, Austria or Switzerland are eligible to participate. Employees of Sterntaler GmbH and other persons involved in the implementation of the competition as well as their relatives are excluded from participation. Also excluded are persons who use unauthorized aids or otherwise gain advantages through manipulation (e.g. by using competition machines). In these cases, prizes may also be revoked and/or reclaimed retrospectively.
  5. The participation fee consists of following the Sterntaler social media channel on which the competition takes place (Instagram), to like the competition post and to leave a comment under the post as requested.
  6. Each participant can only take part in the competition once. If a participant takes part in the competition in violation of the rules or repeatedly takes part, they will be disqualified from the competition.
  7. Participation in the competition is free of charge and independent of the purchase of goods or services. Participants only have to bear the costs associated with participation via the Internet (usage fee for Internet connection).
  8. The winner will be chosen at random and only from among those participants who have complied with the terms and conditions. If there are multiple entries, the winner will be chosen at random.
  9. The winner will be contacted promptly and asked to confirm contact details to verify them.
  10. Cash payment of the material value or exchange of the prize is not possible. The prize is not transferable. The right to the prize expires if the prize cannot be delivered within four (4) weeks of the prize being sent for reasons attributable to the winner.
  11. Sterntaler GmbH reserves the right to suspend the competition in whole or in part or to end it early if this is reasonably necessary, in particular for technical or legal reasons. Sterntaler GmbH will make use of this option in particular if the proper conduct of the competition cannot be guaranteed for technical reasons (e.g. viruses in the computer system, manipulation or errors in the hardware and/or software) or for legal reasons. Participants do not have any claims against Sterntaler GmbH as a result. If such a disruption to the conduct of the competition is caused by the negligent conduct of a participant, Sterntaler GmbH can demand compensation for the damage caused.
  12. The liability of Sterntaler GmbH, its bodies, employees and vicarious agents arising from or in connection with the competition, regardless of the legal basis, is limited to intent or gross negligence, except for personal injury, for expressly declared guarantees or for damages within the scope of the Product Liability Act.The above limitation of liability also applies in particular to damage caused by errors, delays or interruptions in transmission, malfunctions in technical systems and services, incorrect content, loss or deletion of data or viruses. Sterntaler GmbH is not liable for material and/or legal defects in the prizes offered.
  13. The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies. Furthermore, mandatory provisions, in particular the law of the state in which the participant has his or her habitual residence, remain unaffected if the participant is a consumer.

Legal recourse is excluded with regard to the drawing of the winners and any assessment of the contents of the submitted competition entries.

  1. Should individual provisions of the conditions of participation be or become invalid, the validity of the remaining conditions of participation shall remain unaffected. They shall be replaced by the valid provision that most closely corresponds to the purpose of the invalid provision.

Privacy Policy:

The processing of data when participating in the campaign is carried out by Sterntaler GmbH. You can contact the data protection officer of Sterntaler GmbH at datenschutz@sterntaler.com. The data is processed based on your consent in accordance with Art. 6 Paragraph 1 Letter b) of GDPR, as data processing is necessary to carry out the campaign. You are not obliged to provide us with the data. If you do not provide the data, however, this would mean that we cannot send you any prize and therefore participation in or carrying out the competition is not possible. After the campaign has ended, all stored data will be deleted. Your personal data that you pass on to us as part of the campaign (first and last name, e-mail address, zip code, place of residence, other personal data) will only be collected, processed and used for the purpose of carrying out the campaign. The implementation and processing is carried out by Sterntaler GmbH, which collects, stores and uses the data necessary to carry out the campaign in compliance with data protection regulations. You have the right to information about your stored data at any time in accordance with Art. 15 of the GDPR. In addition, if the legal requirements are met, you have the right to rectification in accordance with Art. 16 GDPR, erasure of your data in accordance with Art. 17 GDPR, restriction of processing in accordance with Art. 18 GDPR and to portability of data provided in accordance with Art. 20 GDPR.
