How it all began...

Tina had contacted us regarding demonstration products .

This led to an in-depth exchange, followed shortly afterward by an invitation to our headquarters to discuss the products together.

If you were 18 again, what would you do differently?

Phew, that’s an interesting and difficult question.

But looking back, I think I probably would have started midwifery training rather than training as a nurse.

That was actually what I originally wanted to do back then, but I started my training at the age of 16 and was too young to train as a midwife, so I wasn’t admitted.

In addition, I would really like to spend a year abroad as an au pair.

Who are you, anyway?

My name is Tina Rapp, I am 34 years old, and I live with my family in a small village near Karlsruhe in Baden-Württemberg.

I am a baby expert and family nurse who accompanies babies and their families along their individual journeys and works with and for them to provide personalized help and support.

Thanks to my professional background and the many additional training courses I have completed since then, families can ask me about a wide range of baby-related questions.

I practice my wonderfully diverse profession with all my Hearts. One moment I am a breastfeeding consultant, the next a babywearing consultant, and the next I am the instructor of a baby massage course.

What were your first impressions of Sterntaler?

I’m still amazed by my visit to Sterntaler.

I was completely overwhelmed by all the wonderful products and the design of this showroom. You can tell that it is the heart of the company. I felt very comfortable during my two-day visit to beautiful Dorndorf.

The reason I approached Sterntaler in the first place was that I have two children of my own, and we had complete collections at home for both of them. For my son, it was the Nelson collection, and for my daughter, the Rosalie collection. My children and I loved the products, and even during my visit, I would have loved to pack up all the baby hats and take them home with me.

How did the collaboration with Sterntaler come about?

“I enjoy presenting the products to the families I work with and pointing out their
special features, especially when the products are of such high quality.


I contacted Sterntaler regarding demonstration products and
asked whether it would be possible for some to be sent to me.

This ultimately led to an intensive exchange
between Sterntaler and me, culminating in an invitation to the
headquarters in Dorndorf and the beautiful
showroom. There, we discussed the wide range of
products in person and worked together on ideas for making the items even
more innovative.

Through my work with families, including in the places where the products are
used, I naturally know what needs to be improved and what is still fundamentally
missing from the market. I then incorporate these ideas into our
joint brainstorming sessions.”

How did the ideas for the new concept come about?

"The ideas I have now, including those relating to the new Sterntaler sleeping bag concept, usually come to me when I’m exchanging ideas with mothers.


The solutions are often very simple and straightforward, and I’m delighted to be able to implement such
great product innovations together with the Sterntaler brand!"
