The Sterntaler sleeping bags have been around since End of the 90s an integral part of the range and ensure that our darlings have a good night's sleep optimal feel-good climate. When the EU standards for Baby and children's sleeping bags adapted, we have made it our task to develop the entire Sleeping bag concept to revise and optimize. This enabled us to novel features integrate.

The neck openings have also been adjusted to prevent the child from slipping in the sleeping bag. Intermediate sizes and newborn sizes:
The size concept of Sterntaler sleeping bags has also been significantly expanded. The inner sleeping bag and the baby sleeping bag are now available in Size 44 cm and is now also available for premature babies. The popular sleeping bag sizes 80 cm and 100 cm are now firmly anchored in the product range.
Two-way zipper:
The practical two-way zipper allows parents to open the sleeping bag from the top or bottom, making changing and dressing easier. The zipper end is covered by a protective fabric flap.
Integrated cuffs:
The new, integrated cuffs in our long-sleeved sleeping bags keep little hands warm and protect them from nighttime scratching. This innovation was especially important to us to provide the right sleeping bag for children with sensitive skin.
“HYDROCOOL®” technology: An outstanding feature is the “Hydrocool®” technology, which ensures a consistently comfortable and dry wearing feeling, moisture transport and
supports the child's natural heat regulation. This is especially important to ensure that babies do not sweat or overheat in their sleeping bag, but feel completely comfortable.
All Sterntaler sleeping bags meet the safety requirements and are tested according to the European standard and its test procedures for children's sleeping bags (DIN EN 16781).

The TOG value continues to play an important role in the new sleeping bags. TOG is the unit of measurement for Thermal resistance of textilesThe higher this value, the warmer the sleeping bag. The TOG value and the room temperature should be adjusted to the Sensation of warmth of the child and not based exclusively on the season.
