Terms and Conditions of Participation

The following designations of persons apply equally to persons of all genders.

By participating in the prize draw, you accept the following terms and conditions of participation:

  1. The organizer of the prize draw is Sterntaler GmbH, Werkstrasse 6-8, 65599 Dornburg-Dorndorf, Fon: +49 (0) 6436-509-0, service@sterntaler.com.
  2. The prize draw begins on 02.04.2024 and ends on 09.04.2024.
  3. The following prizes will be awarded: 1 x 20% off everything, 1 x 15% off everything, 2 x 12% off everything, 1 x 20% off Sleeping Bags, 1 x €10 off a purchase value of €50.
  4. Natural persons who are of legal age at the time of participation (i.e. at least 18 years old), have unlimited legal capacity and reside in Germany, Austria or Switzerland are eligible to participate (“participants”). Employees of Sterntaler GmbH and other persons involved in implementing the prize draw, as well as their relatives, are excluded from participation. Persons who use unauthorized aids or otherwise gain an advantage through manipulation (e.g. by using prize-draw machines) are also excluded. In such cases, prizes may also be subsequently revoked and/or reclaimed.
  5. To participate, participants must spin the wheel of fortune on the online shop’s website. The terms and conditions of participation must be accepted first.
  6. Each participant may take part in the prize draw only once. Any participation in violation of the rules or repeated participation in the prize draw will result in the participant’s exclusion.
  7. Participation in the prize draw is free of charge and independent of the purchase of goods or services. Participants are only responsible for any costs associated with participating via the Internet (Internet connection charges).
  8. The winners are selected at random and only from among those participants who have complied with the terms and conditions of participation.
  9. The winner will be notified immediately after spinning the wheel of fortune and informed whether or not a voucher has been won. In the event of a win, the discounts can be redeemed in the shopping cart of the Sterntaler online shop during the promotional week.
  10. Cash payment of the value of the prize or exchange of the prize is not possible. The prize is non-transferable. The claim to the prize expires if the prize is not redeemed in the shopping cart of the Sterntaler online shop during the promotional week.
  11. Sterntaler GmbH reserves the right to suspend the prize draw in whole or in part, temporarily or permanently, or to end it early if this is necessary for reasonable reasons, particularly due to technical or legal reasons. Sterntaler GmbH will make use of this option in particular if the proper conduct of the prize draw cannot be guaranteed for technical reasons (e.g. viruses in the computer system, manipulation or errors in the hardware and/or software) or for legal reasons. Participants shall have no claims against Sterntaler GmbH as a result. If such an interruption to the conduct of the prize draw is culpably caused by the conduct of a participant, Sterntaler GmbH may demand compensation from that participant for the resulting damage.
  12. The liability of Sterntaler GmbH, its governing bodies, employees and vicarious agents arising from or in connection with the prize draw, irrespective of the legal basis, is limited to intent or gross negligence, except in the case of personal injury, expressly declared guarantees or damage within the scope of the German Product Liability Act. The above limitation of liability applies in particular to damage caused by errors, delays or interruptions in transmission, disruptions to technical equipment and services, incorrect content, loss or deletion of data, or viruses. Sterntaler GmbH is not liable for material defects and/or defects of title in the prizes offered.
  13. The law of the Federal Republic of Germany shall apply. Mandatory provisions, particularly the law of the country in which the participant has their habitual residence, shall remain unaffected insofar as the participant is a consumer.

Legal recourse is excluded with regard to the drawing of the winners and any assessment of the content of the submitted prize-draw entries.

  1. Should individual provisions of these terms and conditions of participation be or become invalid, the validity of the remaining terms and conditions of participation shall remain unaffected. The invalid provision shall be replaced by a valid provision that most closely corresponds to the purpose of the invalid provision.

Privacy Notice:

Data processing in connection with participation in the promotion is carried out by Sterntaler GmbH. You can contact the data protection officer of Sterntaler GmbH at datenschutz@sterntaler.com. The data is processed on the basis of your consent pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and pursuant to Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR, as data processing is necessary to conduct the promotion. After the promotion has ended, all stored data will be deleted. Your personal data, which you provide to us as part of the promotion, will be collected, processed and used solely for the purpose of conducting the promotion. The promotion is conducted and administered by Sterntaler GmbH, which collects, stores and uses the data necessary to conduct the promotion in compliance with data protection requirements. You have the right to obtain information about your stored data at any time. In addition, if the statutory requirements are met, you have the right to have your data corrected, blocked or deleted and to have data you have provided transferred. You may withdraw your consent to the storage and use of the collected data at any time with effect for the future by contacting info@sterntaler.com. Please contact our data protection officer directly to exercise your rights. You may also contact a supervisory authority with a complaint at any time.
