Terms of Participation
In the following, personal designations apply equally to persons of male and female gender.
By participating in the prize draw, you accept the following terms of participation:
- The organizer of the prize draw is Sterntaler GmbH, Werkstrasse 6-8, 65599 Dornburg-Dorndorf, Phone: +49 (0) 6436-509-0, service@sterntaler.com.
- The prize draw begins on 24.12.2025 and ends on 07.01.2025.
- The prize to be drawn is as follows: A voucher for an eventful weekend holiday (2 nights) for the whole family (2 adults and 2 children aged 0-15 years) including the “Enjoyer-Time” wellness board at the four-star superior hotel ULRICHSHOF Nature • Family • Design in the Bavarian Forest.
- Eligible to participate are natural persons who are of full age (i.e., at least 18 years old) and fully legally competent at the time of participation (“participants”) and whose place of residence is in Germany, Austria, or Switzerland. Employees of Sterntaler GmbH and other persons involved in the implementation of the prize draw as well as their relatives are excluded from participation. Persons who use unauthorized aids or otherwise gain advantages through manipulation (e.g., by using prize draw machines) are also excluded. In such cases, prizes may be revoked and/or reclaimed retrospectively.
- Participation requires following the Sterntaler social media channel where the prize draw takes place (Facebook or Instagram) as well as that of the cooperation partner ULRICHSHOF Nature • Family • Design and linking the channels (Facebook or Instagram), liking the prize draw post, and placing a comment according to the prompt under the post.
- Each participant may only take part once in the prize draw. Irregular or repeated participation by a participant will result in exclusion from the draw.
- Participation in the prize draw is free of charge and independent of the purchase of goods or services. Participants only bear the costs associated with participation via the internet (internet connection fees).
- The winner will be determined by random selection and only among those participants who have complied with the terms of participation. In the case of multiple entries, the draw decides.
- The winner will be contacted promptly by the official company account @sterntalergmbh and asked to verify their contact details. The transfer of the winner’s data to ULRICHSHOF Nature • Family • Design (ULRICHSHOF & Co. KG | Zettisch 42 | 93485 Rimbach) is necessary for sending the voucher, further coordination, and booking.
- Cash payment of the prize or exchange of the prize is not possible. The prize is non-transferable. The claim to the prize expires if the prize cannot be delivered within four (4) weeks after dispatch for reasons attributable to the winner.
- Sterntaler GmbH reserves the right to suspend or prematurely end the prize draw wholly or partially if this is reasonably necessary, especially for technical or legal reasons. Sterntaler GmbH will particularly make use of this option if proper conduct of the prize draw cannot be guaranteed due to technical reasons (e.g., viruses in the computer system, manipulation, or errors in hardware and/or software) or legal reasons. Participants have no claims against Sterntaler GmbH as a result. If such disruption of the prize draw is culpably caused by a participant’s behavior, Sterntaler GmbH may claim compensation for the damage caused.
- The liability of Sterntaler GmbH, its bodies, employees, and vicarious agents arising from or in connection with the prize draw, regardless of the legal grounds, is limited to intent or gross negligence, except for personal injury, expressly declared guarantees, or damages under the Product Liability Act. This limitation of liability also applies in particular to damages caused by errors, delays, or interruptions in transmission, technical failures of equipment and services, incorrect content, loss or deletion of data, or viruses. Sterntaler GmbH is not liable for material and/or legal defects in the awarded prizes.
- The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies. Furthermore, mandatory provisions, especially of the law of the state in which the participant has their habitual residence, remain unaffected, provided the participant is a consumer.
The legal route is excluded with regard to the drawing of winners and any assessment of the content of submitted prize draw entries.
- Should individual provisions of the terms of participation be or become invalid, the validity of the remaining terms remains unaffected. They shall be replaced by a valid provision that most closely corresponds to the purpose of the invalid provision.
Privacy Notice:
The processing of data in connection with participation in the campaign is carried out by Sterntaler GmbH. You can reach the data protection officer of Sterntaler GmbH at datenschutz@sterntaler.com. The processing of data is based on your consent according to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR and on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR, as the data processing is necessary for carrying out the campaign. After the campaign ends, all stored data will be deleted. Your personal data that you provide to us within the campaign (first and last name, email address, postal code, place of residence, other personal data) will only be collected, processed, and used for the purpose of carrying out the campaign. The execution and handling are carried out by Sterntaler GmbH, which collects, stores, and uses the data necessary for the campaign in compliance with data protection regulations. The personal data of the winner will also be transmitted to the hotel ULRICHSHOF Nature • Family • Design for the purpose of prize processing. You have the right at any time to request information about your stored data. Furthermore, if the legal requirements are met, you have the right to correction, blocking, or deletion of your data and to the transferability of provided data. You can revoke your consent to the storage and use of the collected data at any time with effect for the future by contacting info@sterntaler.com. Please contact our data protection officer directly to assert your rights. You may also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority at any time.
