Terms of Participation Christmas Eve
Terms and Conditions
In the following, personal designations apply equally to persons of male and female gender.
By participating in the contest, you accept the following terms and conditions:
- The organizer of the contest is Sterntaler GmbH, Werkstrasse 6-8, 65599 Dornburg-Dorndorf, Phone: +49 (0) 6436-509-0, service@sterntaler.com.
- The contest begins on 24.12.2025 and ends on 07.01.2025.
- The following prize will be raffled: A voucher for an eventful weekend vacation (2 nights) for the whole family (2 adults and 2 children aged 0-15 years) including the "Genießer-Zeit" wellness pension at the four-star superior hotel ULRICHSHOF Nature • Family • Design in the Bavarian Forest.
- Eligible to participate are natural persons who are of legal age at the time of participation (i.e., at least 18 years old) and fully legally competent ("participants") and whose residence is in Germany, Austria, or Switzerland. Employees of Sterntaler GmbH and other persons involved in the implementation of the contest, as well as their relatives, are excluded from participation. Persons who use unauthorized aids or otherwise gain advantages through manipulation (e.g., also through the use of contest machines) are also excluded. In such cases, winnings may also be revoked and/or reclaimed retroactively.
- The participation requirement consists of following the Sterntaler social media channel where the contest takes place (Facebook or Instagram), as well as that of the cooperation partner ULRICHSHOF Nature • Family • Design and linking the channels (Facebook or Instagram), liking the contest post, and placing a comment according to the prompt under the post.
- Each participant can only participate once in the contest. Irregular or repeated participation of a participant in the contest will result in exclusion from the game.
- Participation in the contest is free of charge and independent of the purchase of goods or services. Participants only have to bear the costs associated with participation via the internet themselves (usage fee for internet connection).
- The winner is determined by random selection and only among those participants who have complied with the participation conditions. In the case of multiple entries, the draw decides.
- The winner will be contacted promptly by the official company account @sterntalergmbh and asked to verify their contact details. The transfer of the winner's data to ULRICHSHOF Nature • Family • Design (ULRICHSHOF & Co. KG | Zettisch 42 | 93485 Rimbach) is necessary for sending the voucher, further coordination, and booking.
- A cash payment of the prize or an exchange of the prize is not possible. The prize is non-transferable. The claim to the prize expires if the delivery of the prize cannot be made within four (4) weeks after the prize has been sent due to reasons attributable to the winner.
- Sterntaler GmbH reserves the right to suspend or terminate the contest entirely or temporarily if this is necessary for reasonable reasons, especially due to technical or legal reasons. Sterntaler GmbH particularly exercises this option if, for technical reasons (e.g., viruses in the computer system, manipulation or errors in hardware and/or software) or legal reasons, a proper execution of the contest cannot be guaranteed. Participants have no claims against Sterntaler GmbH as a result. If such a disruption of the contest is culpably caused by the behavior of a participant, Sterntaler GmbH may claim compensation for the damage incurred from that participant.
- The liability of Sterntaler GmbH, its organs, employees, and vicarious agents arising from or in connection with the contest, regardless of the legal basis, is limited to intent or gross negligence, except for personal injury, expressly declared guarantees, or damages within the scope of the Product Liability Act. The above limitation of liability also applies in particular to damages caused by errors, delays, or interruptions in transmission, malfunctions of technical equipment and services, incorrect content, loss or deletion of data, or viruses. Sterntaler GmbH is not liable for material and/or legal defects in the awarded prizes.
- The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies. In addition, mandatory provisions, especially of the law of the state in which the participant has their habitual residence, remain unaffected, provided the participant is a consumer.
Legal recourse is excluded with regard to the drawing of winners and any assessment of the content of the submitted contest entries.
- If individual provisions of the terms and conditions of participation are or become invalid, the validity of the remaining terms and conditions of participation shall remain unaffected. They shall be replaced by the valid provision that most closely corresponds to the purpose of the invalid provision.
Privacy Notice:
The processing of data when participating in the promotion is carried out by Sterntaler GmbH. You can reach the data protection officer of Sterntaler GmbH at datenschutz@sterntaler.com. The processing of data is based on your consent according to Art. 6 para. 1 lit a GDPR and based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit b GDPR, as the data processing is necessary for the execution of the promotion. After the promotion ends, all stored data will be deleted. Your personal data, which you provide to us within the scope of the promotion (first and last name, email address, postal code, place of residence, other personal data), is collected, processed, and used solely for the purpose of carrying out the promotion. The execution and handling is done by Sterntaler GmbH, which collects, stores, and uses the data necessary for the promotion in compliance with data protection regulations. The personal data of the winner is also transmitted to Hotel ULRICHSHOF Nature • Family • Design for the purpose of prize processing. You have the right at any time to request information about your stored data. Furthermore, if the legal requirements are met, you have the right to correction, blocking, or deletion of your data and to the portability of provided data. You can revoke your consent to the storage and use of the collected data at any time with effect for the future at info@sterntaler.com. Please contact our data protection officer directly regarding the assertion of your rights. Additionally, you can file a complaint with a supervisory authority at any time.
