Terms and Conditions of Participation

In the following, references to persons apply equally to persons of all genders.

By participating in the prize draw, you accept the following terms and conditions of participation:

  1. The organizer of the prize draw is Sterntaler GmbH, Werkstrasse 6-8, 65599 Dornburg-Dorndorf, Phone: +49 (0) 6436-509-0, service@sterntaler.com.
  2. The prize draw begins on 05.12.2025 and ends on 20.12.2025.
  3. The following prize will be awarded: A family vacation for 2 adults and their children lasting 4 days/3 nights, including half board and a suitable additional service such as wellness, toboggan rental, etc.
  4. Natural persons who are of legal age at the time of participation (i.e. at least 18 years old) and have unlimited legal capacity (“participants”), and whose place of residence is in Germany, Austria, or Switzerland, are eligible to participate. Employees of Sterntaler GmbH and other persons involved in implementing the prize draw, as well as their relatives, are excluded from participation. Persons who use unauthorized aids or otherwise gain an advantage through manipulation (e.g. by using prize-draw machines) are also excluded. In such cases, prizes may also be subsequently revoked and/or reclaimed.
  5. To participate, participants must follow Sterntaler’s social media channel on which the prize draw takes place (Facebook or Instagram), as well as that of the cooperation partner Dilly – Das Nationalpark Resort in Upper Austria, and follow the channels (Facebook or Instagram), like the prize-draw post, and leave a comment in accordance with the request under the post.
  6. Each participant may enter the prize draw only once. Any participation that violates the rules or repeated participation by a participant will result in exclusion from the prize draw.
  7. Participation in the prize draw is free of charge and independent of the purchase of goods or services. Participants are only responsible for any costs associated with participating via the internet (internet connection fees).
  8. The winner will be selected at random from among the participants who have complied with the terms and conditions of participation. If there are multiple entries, the winner will be determined by drawing lots.
  9. The winner will be contacted promptly by the official company account @sterntalergmbh and asked to verify their contact details. Passing the winner’s data on to Dilly - Nationalpark Resort (Pyhrnstraße 144580 I Windischgarsten I Austria) is necessary for sending the voucher and for further arrangements and booking.
  10. Cash payment of the prize’s value or an exchange of the prize is not possible. The prize is non-transferable. The entitlement to the prize expires if delivery of the prize cannot take place within four (4) weeks after dispatch for reasons attributable to the winner.
  11. Sterntaler GmbH reserves the right to suspend the prize draw in whole or in part, temporarily or permanently, or to end it early if this is reasonably necessary, particularly for technical or legal reasons. Sterntaler GmbH will make use of this option especially if the proper implementation of the prize draw cannot be guaranteed for technical reasons (e.g. viruses in the computer system, manipulation, or errors in the hardware and/or software) or for legal reasons. Participants shall have no claims against Sterntaler GmbH as a result. If such disruption to the implementation of the prize draw is culpably caused by a participant’s conduct, Sterntaler GmbH may demand compensation from that participant for the resulting damage.
  12. The liability of Sterntaler GmbH, its governing bodies, employees, and vicarious agents arising from or in connection with the prize draw, regardless of the legal basis, is limited to intent or gross negligence, except in cases involving personal injury, expressly declared guarantees, or damage within the scope of the Product Liability Act. The above limitation of liability applies in particular to damage caused by errors, delays, or interruptions in transmission, malfunctions of technical equipment and services, incorrect content, loss or deletion of data, or viruses. Sterntaler GmbH shall not be liable for defects in quality and/or title affecting the prizes offered.
  13. The law of the Federal Republic of Germany shall apply. In addition, mandatory provisions, in particular the law of the state in which the participant has their habitual residence, shall remain unaffected if the participant is a consumer. Legal recourse is excluded with regard to the drawing of the winners and any assessment of the content of the submitted prize-draw entries.
  14. If individual provisions of these terms and conditions of participation are or become invalid, the validity of the remaining terms and conditions of participation shall remain unaffected. They shall be replaced by a valid provision that comes as close as possible to the purpose of the invalid provision.

Privacy Information:

Data processing when participating in the campaign is carried out by Sterntaler GmbH. You can contact the data protection officer of Sterntaler GmbH at datenschutz@sterntaler.com. Data is processed on the basis of your consent pursuant to Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR and on the basis of Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR, as data processing is necessary to carry out the campaign. After the campaign has ended, all stored data will be deleted. Your personal data that you provide to us as part of the campaign (first and last name, email address, postal code, place of residence, and other personal data) will be collected, processed, and used solely for the purpose of carrying out the campaign. The campaign is carried out and administered by Sterntaler GmbH, which collects, stores, and uses the data necessary to carry out the campaign in compliance with data protection regulations. The winner’s personal data will also be transmitted to Hotel Dilly - Nationalpark Resort for the purpose of administering the prize. You have the right to obtain information about your stored data at any time. In addition, if the statutory requirements are met, you have the right to rectification, restriction of processing, or deletion of your data, as well as the right to data portability. You may withdraw your consent to the storage and use of the collected data at any time, with effect for the future, by contacting info@sterntaler.com. Please contact our data protection officer directly to exercise your rights. You may also contact a supervisory authority with a complaint at any time.
