The Sterntaler editorial team presents:

Interview with Tina Rapp

Family nurse, mother, and baby expert

How it all began...

Tina had reached out to us regarding demonstration products.

This led to an in-depth exchange and shortly thereafter an invitation to the headquarters to discuss the products together.

In the following interview, you can learn more about the collaboration and get to know Tina Rapp, family nurse and mother...

If you were 18 again, what would you do differently?

Phew, interesting and difficult question.

But I think, looking back, I would probably start training as a midwife rather than as a nurse.

Originally, I wanted to do it that way back then as well, but I began my training at 16 years old and was too young for the training profession as a midwife and therefore did not receive admission.

In addition, I would quite like to spend a year abroad as a foster child.

Who are you really?

My name is Tina Rapp, I am 34 years old and live with my family in a small village near Karlsruhe in Baden-Württemberg.

I am a baby expert and family nurse and accompany babies and their families on their various paths, trying together with them and for them to provide individual help and support.

Through my professional career and the many further trainings I have completed, families can ask me about all kinds of questions concerning babies.

I practice my profession, which could not be more varied, with all my heart. One moment I am a breastfeeding counselor, the next a babywearing advisor, and then again the leader of the baby massage course.

  • ... Your start into working life

Passed the state examination as a health and nursing caregiver in 2008

  • ... Your growth

Advanced expertise through various further trainings such as instructor for baby massages, style or complementary feeding advisor.

  • ... until the appeal

Baby expert and family nurse who supports families with a wide range of questions about babies.

What were your first impressions of Sterntaler?

I am still amazed by my visit to Sterntaler today.

I was completely overwhelmed by all the wonderful products and the design of this showroom. You can tell it is the heart of the company. I felt very comfortable during my two-day visit in the beautiful Dorndorf.

The reason I approached Sterntaler at all was because I have two children myself and had complete series at home for both. For my son, it was the Nelson series and for my daughter the Rosalie series. My children and I loved the products, and even during my visit, I would have loved to take all the baby caps with me right away.

How did the collaboration with Sterntaler come about?

"I like to present the goods to my families and show them the
special features, especially when the items are of such high quality.

I had contacted Sterntaler regarding demonstration products and
inquired whether it would be possible for me to receive some by mail.

Eventually, this led to an intensive exchange
between Sterntaler and me, until finally even an
invitation to the headquarters in Dorndorf and the beautiful
showroom was extended. There, we exchanged ideas on site about the versatile
products and jointly thought of ways to make the items even
more innovative.

Through my work with families, that is, where the products are actually used, I naturally know what needs improving or what is fundamentally still missing on the market. I then incorporate these ideas into our joint brainstorming."

  • To put it simply: I swear by the products of Sterntaler. They not only look visually beautiful but also have truly helpful and remarkable features, making them perfect for babies!

How did the ideas for the new concept come about?

"The ideas I now have regarding the new Sterntaler sleeping bag concept mostly come when I am in conversation with the mothers.

Often the solutions are very simple and plain, and I am glad to be able to bring such
wonderful product innovations to life together with the Sterntaler brand!"

Thank you very much for your helpful ideas and the great advice

We value you, your inventive ideas, and the shared creative work, and we look forward to great new products that we may develop with you in the future!
