OEKO‑TEX® STANDARD 100

OEKO‑TEX® STANDARD 100 is one of the most well-known labels worldwide for textiles tested for harmful substances. It stands for customer trust and high product safety. The extensive catalog of measures for harmful substance testing covers current legal regulations and reviews future developments for relevance.

• The regulations on prohibited azo dyes, formaldehyde, nickel, etc., are included in the testing catalog.

• Health-hazardous chemicals are also tested even if they are not yet legally regulated.

• Requirements of Annexes XVII and XIV of the REACH regulation as well as the ECHA SVHC candidate list are covered by the testing procedure.

• The OEKO‑TEX® STANDARD 100 laboratory tests include around 100 test parameters and take into account the intended use of the textiles. The more intense the skin contact of a textile product, the stricter the limit values per product class.
