How does UV protective clothing work?

Our UV clothing is made from special fibers and partly consists of several materials, so that the harmful UV rays are effectively blocked. We rely on high-quality fabrics in the manufacture of our textiles, so our clothing fits flexibly and comfortably and retains its shape.

What does UPF mean?

UPF stands for “Ultraviolet Protection Factor” and indicates as a UV protection factor how long UV swimwear, shirts, or sun hats can protect your child from the sun’s rays without causing skin damage. The UPF value is comparable to the sun or light protection factor of sunscreens (SPF) and is marked differently:

● UPF 30: The fabric lets through about 3 % of the harmful UV radiation

● UPF 50+: The material lets through less than 2 % of the UV radiation

How can UV clothing be washed?
