Which baby sleeping bag for winter or autumn: What should I pay attention to?
● Proper sleeping bag size
For a baby sleeping bag in colder temperatures, you should first pay attention to the size. The rule is always: Your child should outgrow it, not grow into it!

● Material for the ideal sleeping climate
The next criterion, which is especially important for warm, padded sleeping bags, concerns the material and the fabric. For a pleasant skin feel, cotton is particularly suitable. In our Sterntaler® online shop, we mainly offer baby sleeping bags made of cotton with soft filling, which are also suitable for washing machines and dryers.
● TOG value for the optimal sleeping temperature
Together with the material, the TOG value is also important for the sleeping bag. This indicates how high the thermal resistance is or how warm a sleeping bag is. In our Sterntaler range, sleeping bags for all seasons are available with values from 0.5–3.5 TOG.
While the warm sleeping bags for cooler temperatures in our range are rated with TOG values of 2–3.5 TOG, our lighter sleeping bags for spring and summer have TOG values of 0.5–1.5 TOG.
