Conditions of participation

In the following, personal designations apply equally to persons of both male and female gender.

By participating in the competition you accept the following terms and conditions:

  1. The organizer of the competition is Sterntaler GmbH, Werkstrasse 6-8, 65599 Dornburg-Dorndorf, Phone: +49 (0) 6436-509-0, service@sterntaler.com.
  2. The competition begins on April 2, 2024, and ends on April 9, 2024.
  3. The following prizes will be raffled off: 1 x 20% off everything, 1 x 15% off everything, 2 x 12% off everything, 1 x 20% off sleeping bags, 1 x 10€ with a purchase value of 50€.
  4. Eligible to participate are natural persons who are of legal age (i.e., at least 18 years old) and have full legal capacity ("participants") at the time of participation and who reside in Germany, Austria, or Switzerland. Employees of Sterntaler GmbH and other persons involved in the implementation of the competition, as well as their relatives, are excluded from participation. Also excluded are persons who use unauthorized aids or otherwise gain advantages through manipulation (e.g., through the use of competition machines). In these cases, prizes may be revoked and/or reclaimed retroactively.
  5. The participation fee consists of spinning the wheel of fortune on the online shop's website. To do so, you must first accept the terms and conditions.
  6. Each participant may only enter the competition once. Failure to comply with the rules or repeated participation by a participant will result in their exclusion from the competition.
  7. Participation in the competition is free of charge and independent of the purchase of any goods or services. Participants are solely responsible for the costs associated with participating online (internet connection fee).
  8. The winners will be chosen at random and will only be chosen from among those participants who have complied with the terms and conditions.
  9. The winner will receive a notification immediately after spinning the wheel of fortune, stating whether or not they have won a voucher. If they win, the discounts can be redeemed in the Sterntaler online shop's shopping cart during the promotional week.
  10. Cash payment of the prize or exchange of the prize is not possible. The prize is non-transferable. The right to the prize expires if the prize is not redeemed in the shopping cart of the Sterntaler online shop within the promotional week.
  11. Sterntaler GmbH reserves the right to suspend the competition completely or temporarily, or to terminate it prematurely, if this is reasonably necessary, particularly for technical or legal reasons. Sterntaler GmbH will exercise this option in particular if, for technical reasons (e.g., viruses in the computer system, manipulation, or errors in the hardware and/or software) or for legal reasons, the proper conduct of the competition cannot be guaranteed. Participants shall not have any claims against Sterntaler GmbH as a result. If such a disruption to the conduct of the competition is caused by the culpable conduct of a participant, Sterntaler GmbH may demand compensation for the resulting damages.
  12. The liability of Sterntaler GmbH, its executive bodies, employees and vicarious agents arising from or in connection with the competition, regardless of the legal basis, is limited to intent or gross negligence, except for personal injury, for expressly stated guarantees or for damages within the scope of application of the Product Liability Act.The above limitation of liability also applies in particular to damages caused by errors, delays, or interruptions in transmission, malfunctions of technical systems and services, incorrect content, loss or deletion of data, or viruses. Sterntaler GmbH is not liable for material and/or legal defects in the prizes offered.
  13. The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies. Furthermore, mandatory provisions, in particular the law of the country in which the participant has his or her habitual residence, remain unaffected if the participant is a consumer.

Legal recourse is excluded with regard to the drawing of the winners and any assessment of the content of the submitted competition entries.

  1. Should individual provisions of these Terms and Conditions be or become invalid, the validity of the remaining Terms and Conditions shall remain unaffected. They shall be replaced by the valid provision that most closely reflects the purpose of the invalid provision.

Data protection information:

The processing of data when participating in the campaign is carried out by Sterntaler GmbH. The data protection officer of Sterntaler GmbH can be reached at datenschutz@sterntaler.com. The data is processed based on your consent in accordance with Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR and Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR, as data processing is necessary to carry out the campaign. After the campaign has ended, all stored data will be deleted. Your personal data, which you provide to us as part of the campaign, will only be collected, processed and used for the purpose of carrying out the campaign. The implementation and processing is carried out by Sterntaler GmbH, which collects, stores and uses the data necessary to carry out the campaign in compliance with data protection regulations. You have the right to information about your stored data at any time. Furthermore, if the legal requirements are met, you have the right to correct, block or delete your data and to transfer the data provided. You can revoke your consent to the storage and use of the collected data at any time with effect for the future at info@sterntaler.com widePlease contact our data protection officer directly to exercise your rights. You can also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority at any time.
