Terms and Conditions of Participation
In the following, personal designations apply equally to persons of male and female gender.
By participating in the contest, you accept the following terms and conditions of participation:
- The organizer of the contest is Sterntaler GmbH, Werkstrasse 6-8, 65599 Dornburg-Dorndorf, Phone: +49 (0) 6436-509-0, service@sterntaler.com.
- The contest begins on 24.12.2025 and ends on 07.01.2025.
- The prize to be won is: A voucher for an exciting weekend getaway (2 nights) for the whole family (2 adults and 2 children aged 0-15 years) including the “Genießer-Zeit” wellness board at the four-star superior hotel ULRICHSHOF Nature • Family • Design in the Bavarian Forest.
- Eligible to participate are natural persons who are of legal age at the time of participation (i.e., at least 18 years old) and fully legally competent (“participants”) and whose place of residence is in Germany, Austria, or Switzerland. Employees of Sterntaler GmbH and other persons involved in the implementation of the contest as well as their relatives are excluded from participation. Persons who use unauthorized aids or otherwise gain advantages through manipulation (e.g., by using contest machines) are also excluded. In such cases, prizes may be revoked and/or reclaimed retroactively.
- Participation requires following the Sterntaler social media channel where the contest takes place (Facebook or Instagram) as well as the channel of the cooperation partner ULRICHSHOF Nature • Family • Design and linking the channels (Facebook or Instagram), liking the contest post, and leaving a comment as requested under the post.
- Each participant may only enter the contest once. Irregular or repeated participation by a participant will result in exclusion from the contest.
- Participation in the contest is free of charge and independent of the purchase of goods or services. Participants only bear the costs associated with participation via the internet (internet connection fees).
- The winner will be determined by random draw and only among those participants who have complied with the terms of participation. In the case of multiple entries, the draw decides.
- The winner will be contacted promptly by the official company account @sterntalergmbh and asked to verify their contact details. The winner’s data will be passed on to ULRICHSHOF Nature • Family • Design (ULRICHSHOF & Co. KG | Zettisch 42 | 93485 Rimbach) for the purpose of sending the voucher, further coordination, and booking.
- Cash payment of the prize or exchange of the prize is not possible. The prize is non-transferable. The claim to the prize expires if delivery of the prize cannot be made within four (4) weeks after dispatch due to reasons attributable to the winner.
- Sterntaler GmbH reserves the right to suspend or terminate the contest wholly or partially at any time if reasonably necessary, especially for technical or legal reasons. Sterntaler GmbH will particularly exercise this right if proper conduct of the contest cannot be guaranteed due to technical reasons (e.g., viruses in the computer system, manipulation, or errors in hardware and/or software) or legal reasons. Participants have no claims against Sterntaler GmbH in this regard. If such disruption of the contest is caused culpably by a participant’s behavior, Sterntaler GmbH may claim compensation for damages.
- Liability of Sterntaler GmbH, its organs, employees, and vicarious agents arising from or in connection with the contest, regardless of legal grounds, is limited to intent or gross negligence, except for personal injury, expressly guaranteed warranties, or damages under the Product Liability Act. This limitation of liability also applies to damages caused by errors, delays, or interruptions in transmission, technical system and service failures, incorrect content, loss or deletion of data, or viruses. Sterntaler GmbH is not liable for material and/or legal defects in the awarded prizes.
- The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies. Mandatory provisions, especially of the law of the state where the participant has their habitual residence, remain unaffected if the participant is a consumer.
The legal process is excluded regarding the drawing of winners and any assessment of the content of submitted contest entries.
- If individual provisions of the terms and conditions are or become invalid, the validity of the remaining terms and conditions remains unaffected. The invalid provision will be replaced by a valid provision that most closely corresponds to the purpose of the invalid provision.
Privacy Notice:
The processing of data in connection with participation in the promotion is carried out by Sterntaler GmbH. You can reach the data protection officer of Sterntaler GmbH at datenschutz@sterntaler.com. Data processing is based on your consent according to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR and Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR, as data processing is necessary for the execution of the promotion. After the promotion ends, all stored data will be deleted. Your personal data provided during the promotion (first and last name, email address, postal code, place of residence, other personal data) will only be collected, processed, and used for the purpose of carrying out the promotion. The execution and processing are handled by Sterntaler GmbH, which collects, stores, and uses the necessary data for the promotion in compliance with data protection regulations. The winner’s personal data will also be transmitted to the hotel ULRICHSHOF Nature • Family • Design for the purpose of prize processing. You have the right at any time to request information about your stored data. Furthermore, if the legal requirements are met, you have the right to correction, blocking, or deletion of your data and to the portability of provided data. You can revoke your consent to the storage and use of the collected data at any time with effect for the future by contacting info@sterntaler.com. Please contact our data protection officer directly to assert your rights. You may also file a complaint with a supervisory authority at any time.
