Terms and Conditions for Participating in the Customer Survey

Terms of participation

In the following, designations of persons apply equally to people of all genders.

By participating in the survey and the associated prize draw, you accept the following terms of participation:

  1. The organizer of the prize draw is Sterntaler GmbH, Werkstrasse 6-8, 65599 Dornburg-Dorndorf, Phone: +49 (0) 6436-509-0, service@sterntaler.com.
  2. The survey and the associated prize draw begin on 08.06.2026 and end on 22.06.2026.
  3. The following prize will be awarded: a €500 gift voucher for the next family holiday in South Tyrol, provided by Südtirol Hosts (@suedtirolhosts). The voucher is redeemable at all establishments of www.suedtirolhosts.com redeemable. The voucher is valid for 1 year. Winners may freely choose the type of accommodation according to their needs. The prize will be administered by Sterntaler GmbH.
  4. Eligible participants are natural persons who, at the time of participation, are of legal age, i.e. at least 18 years old, have full legal capacity, and reside in Germany, Austria, or Switzerland. Employees of Sterntaler GmbH and other persons involved in organizing the prize draw, as well as their relatives, are excluded from participation.
  5. Participation requires completing the survey in full on the Sterntaler website and providing the contact details required for participation. The prize draw may also be promoted through posts and stories on Sterntaler's social media channels, particularly Instagram and Facebook. However, participation in the prize draw is possible exclusively through the survey on the website. Participation is only possible during the participation period. Entries received after the closing date will not be considered in the draw.
  6. Each participant may enter the prize draw only once with a fully submitted entry. Multiple entries, particularly through the use of multiple email addresses, are not permitted and may result in exclusion from the prize draw.
  7. Participation in the prize draw is free of charge and not dependent on the purchase of goods or services.
  8. The winner will be selected at random from among all eligible participants who have completed the survey in full and complied with the terms of participation.
  9. The winner will be contacted by email promptly and asked to confirm their contact details for verification. The voucher will then be sent to the winner by Sterntaler GmbH.
  10. Cash payment of the voucher value or exchange of the prize is not possible. The prize is non-transferable.
  11. Sterntaler GmbH reserves the right to suspend the prize draw in whole or in part, or to end it early, if this is necessary for technical or legal reasons.
  12. The prize draw is not affiliated with Instagram, Facebook, or Meta and is in no way sponsored, supported, or organized by Instagram, Facebook, or Meta. The sole contact and responsible party is Sterntaler GmbH.
  13. The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies. Legal recourse is excluded with regard to the drawing of the winner.

Data protection information:

Data processing in connection with participation in the survey and prize draw is carried out by Sterntaler GmbH. You can contact the data protection officer of Sterntaler GmbH at datenschutz@sterntaler.com.

The personal data you provide as part of the survey and prize draw will be used exclusively to conduct the prize draw, notify the winner, and anonymously evaluate the survey results for internal analysis purposes and the creation of target-group or user profiles (personas). The data will not be used for advertising purposes or disclosed to third parties.

Processing is carried out on the basis of your consent in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR and for conducting the prize draw in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR. The personal data will be deleted as soon as it is no longer required to conduct the prize draw and evaluate the survey, and provided that there are no statutory retention obligations.

You have the right at any time to obtain information about your stored data and, where the statutory requirements are met, the right to rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, and data portability. You may withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future by contacting info@sterntaler.com. To exercise your rights, please contact our data protection officer directly. You may also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority at any time.
